Neon Drift Rally

Neon Drift Rally is the kind of racer that clicks the moment you stop fighting it. The whole game rewards drifting, and once you learn to feather the brake into a corner, the chain multiplier keeps the tension high all the way down a lap. The tracks are neon-soaked and a little retro, but they read clearly even at speed.

Controls default to tilt, which worked fine, though we switched to on-screen buttons for the tighter courses. The car handling has real weight to it. You feel when you've carried too much speed into a hairpin, and the recovery from a bad line is forgiving enough that you keep pushing instead of rage-quitting.

Progression unlocks new cars and a handful of cosmetic liveries. There's no energy timer, which we appreciated, so you can run laps until your thumbs give out. It's one of the better pure racers we've touched on mobile this year.
