Ironhold Tactics

Ironhold Tactics is a turn-based strategy game that respects your time more than most. Battles play out on compact grids, so a full siege takes maybe ten minutes, and the thinking is front-loaded into unit placement before the enemy arrives.

Each unit type has a clear role, and the game teaches positioning through consequences rather than tutorials. We lost a few early maps badly, figured out why, and the next attempt felt genuinely earned. The difficulty curve is steep but fair.

The art is stern and a bit grim, all iron and stone, which suits the siege theme. Menus are clean and the save system handles interruptions gracefully, which matters for a mobile strategy game you'll dip into on the go.
