Legends of Slots
Legends of Slots turned out to be a lot cozier than its name made us expect. It's a casual tap game where columns of cartoon symbols spin and you line up matches to clear a board. There's a gentle fantasy wrapper on top, with little knights and dragons popping up as you progress through themed stages.
The controls are as simple as it gets: tap to spin, tap again to lock a column you like, and the game handles the rest. What kept us playing was the pacing. Each stage introduces a new symbol or a small twist, so it never settles into pure repetition. The animations are snappy, and the sound design has that satisfying click that casual games live or die on.
It's not deep, and it doesn't pretend to be. But for a game you open during a coffee break, Legends of Slots nails the loop. We'd have liked a bit more challenge in the later chapters, but the mood and the clean art carried us further than we planned.
